CODA Forges Relationship with Cardale Stockbrokers on Back of Cardale Park Business Initiative

CODA Group, the finance systems specialist, today announced that it has appointed Cardale Stockbrokers Ltd to help staff buy and sell CODA shares. The relationship between the two companies is a direct result of a business meeting in October, held to encourage Cardale Park businesses to work together more closely on common environmental, community and market issues.

Harrogate, United Kingdom, December 19, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Cardale Stockbrokers, an independent stockbroker and private client investment manager, is located a short walk from CODA’s offices on Cardale Park. The relationship was established on the back of an initiative to work more closely with neighbouring companies (three of which are already CODA customers). The initiative is part of CODA’s newly launched Corporate Responsibility programme. CODA staff wishing to deal shares will be directed to Cardale Stockbrokers as the preferred broker and a local supplier.

The agreement with Cardale Stockbrokers means that CODA employees will be offered special terms to buy/sell CODA shares with low commission rates and charges and a low maximum fee, irrespective of the value of shares being bought/sold. Harrogate staff can also save the price and inconvenience of posting their share certificates.

“Cardale Stockbrokers' services will be invaluable to staff,” commented Dave Belmont, CODA Company Secretary. “This is the sort of local sourcing we want to encourage as it is vital to sustainability and growth of businesses in Harrogate and surrounding areas. The Cardale Park business initiative is the first of its kind in the area and we are planning further meetings and discussions around shared areas of interest in the New Year.”
