BUFF 2010 Showcase - The Roadshow Comes to London

BUFF takes screenings on London tour, as a prelude to the biggest film festival of the year in September.

London, United Kingdom, August 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- BUFF Enterprises have announced 'Buff - On Tour!'

The organisation has confirmed the first in a series of screenings outside the East London home of the British Urban Film Festival.

Held in the wonderful surrounds of the Heritage Inn, a Caribbean themed restaurant based in Cricklewood, NW London Film & Cabaret on the Broadway takes place on the last Monday of every month.

'Film & Cabaret on the Broadway' is a mixture of short film screenings and 'live' performances promoting the artforms in the borough of Brent who will play host to the first 'Buff-On Tour.'

The entertainment will be provided by Aamasade a Storyteller and Singer Songwriter who it is said, intuitively connects with others and imparts the message of positive expression & transformation. Her vocals are laid-back, ‘sunny days’ music.

Asmasade will also performs poetry in a dreamy style and uses instruments and improvisation in a spontaneous and organic way.

Director of BUFF - Emmanuel Anyiam Osigwe will be on hand to formerly open the screenings with four of the 'Buffest Film Shorts' presented throughout the night. All screenings will be followed by Q&A with the filmmakers and the director.

Meanwhile, in what promises to be the 'Buffest' year to date, Buff 2010 has pledged to reach out to their audiences in return for their dedication over the last five years. Audiences up and down the country will be treated to film screenings leading up to Buff 2010 and after the main event with on-line film teasers, the director's daily blog and competitions all taking place on the 'Buff' website.

Buff Enterprises launched in July 2005 with the aim of providing a healthy alternative to the showcasing of urban independent cinema in the UK. Since then there has been a concerted effort by the UK film industry to address this imbalance in the cinema landscape both on and off screen.
