E&B Holdings Partners with Eerie Horror Film Festival

Actor Ken Foree to review top three winning screenplays.

Edinboro, PA, December 19, 2006 --(PR.com)-- E&B Holdings, LLC has announced that they will be partnering with the Eerie Horror Film Festival for their 2007 Screenplay Competition and that actor Ken Foree (“Dawn of the Dead”, “Devil’s Rejects”) will be personally reviewing the top three winning scripts. 

The Best Feature Length, Short and Student screenplay winners will have their scripts forwarded to E&B for review at the close of the competition. 

Ken Foree has been an active force in the entertainment industry for over thirty years since debuting opposite Richard Pryor and James Earl Jones in the film “The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings.” It was his role as Peter Washington in George A. Romero’s “Dawn of the Dead” however that cemented him as a icon for horror fans world-wide. He repeated the role in the 2004 remake of “Dawn of the Dead”. 

His other films include “The Dentist,” “Sleepstalker,” and “Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III” and appearances on several television programs including “Kojak,” “The X-Files” and “Babylon 5". Younger fans may remember seeing him in Nickelodeon’s hit show “Keenan and Kel.”

Most recently Ken appeared as Charlie Altamont in Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects”. 

The Eerie Horror Film Festival takes place October 10 - 14, 2007 at the Erie Playhouse in Erie, Pennsylvania.
