)-- Cypress Bend Resort, set on 600 acres along the shores of Toledo Bend Lake just south of Shreveport, Louisiana, is set to host the first annual “Battle at the Bend” cross-country mountain bike challenge on Sunday, November 21, 2010.
A USA Cycling-sanctioned event, the “Battle at the Bend” includes an 18.3-mile race for Pro and Category 1 riders competing for a $5,000 prize purse. Other participant groups include Category 2, Category 3 and Juniors who will compete for awards and merchandise.
