Waymasters First Radio Single, “I Know A Man” Bursts on to the National Christian Voice Country Gospel Top 100 Chart

Nashville, TN, August 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Perry Edge, President of Double E Promotions is proud to announce that Double E Promotions client, The Waymasters, have burst onto the national Christian Voice Country Gospel Top 100 chart with their first release to radio. After just two months their single “I Know A Man,” debuted at #83.

Originally from the mountains of North Carolina, the Waymasters have grown from small town, local church favorites to one of the most popular southern and traditional gospel music groups in the country. Always striving to put God first in all they do, the group is known for their humble approach and spirit filled harmony. After releasing six albums and touring nationally for years the Waymasters have been widely regarded as making major influential contributions to the “Smokey Mountain Gospel” sound which would later be made most famous in the “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou” movie. Moreover, amassing concert video views in the 100,000’s on YouTube. The Waymasters have been nominated for a total of five USAGEM awards over the years including Album of the Year, Group of the Year, twice for Song of the Year and winning the 2009 USAGEM Acoustic Gospel Crown Jewel Award.
