Pocket Anatomy Releases the First 3D Human Anatomy App for iPad

Pocket Anatomy today announced that Pocket Heart, the first 3D human anatomy iPad application for biology students and coronary care professionals is now available for download from Appleā€™s App Store.

Galway, Ireland, August 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pocket Heart is the first 3-D application providing high quality anatomical information of the human heart and rendered specifically for the iPad. The application will primarily assist biology students who are studying the anatomy of the human heart and are seeking a learning aid to assist their studies and exam preparation. Although developed for the iPad, the content can also be accessed though both the iPhone and iTouch Apple handheld devices.

It provides detailed anatomical content in an interactive and easily accessible 3-D form and comes with a built-in capability for the student to self-test as a mechanism to support and reinforce their learning and examination preparation. Pocket Heart 1.4 is now available through the App Store. This latest release is now iOS 4.0 compatible, offers improved interior and exterior heart modelling and an improved quiz GUI.
