Samurai Karate Holding School Supply Drive

Columbia, SC, August 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Samurai Karate Studio, located in Columbia, South Carolina, Richland Northeast, is currently holding a school supply drive at its school. Students, parents and friends of the school are asked to donate school supplies that will be donated to the local schools and those children who need help getting supplied for the school year.

"This has been a very difficult year for many families in Columbia," commented Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor for Samurai Karate. "And our school would like to help as many kids that can't afford their school supplies!"

While each school maintains their own school supply lists, donations of any kind our being accepted.

"We are holding this drive for the month of August and we would love for some of the local community to participate and drop off supplies at our school," stated Feldt.

The best time to drop off your donations, would be from 4:30pm to 8:00pm, while karate classes are in session.

Samurai Karate Studio teaches a traditional style of Japanese karate to children and adults, beginning at age 3.5 years.
