Crestron Adds New Functionality to the ADMS Intermedia Delivery System™

ADMS Updates include Netflix Support and an Enhanced Internet TV Experience.

Northvale, NJ, August 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The latest version of the multiple award-winning Crestron ADMS Intermedia Delivery System™ is filled with new features that are effortless to install. A pop-up window appears on existing systems; clicking "ok" is all that is required for the update to download and new functionality to be added. Photos and standard or high def home movies can now be merged into a single experience for managing personal video content. Native Netflix integration enables linking to personal Netflix accounts for WorldSearch® browsing and playback. The Internet TV experience has been enhanced, including the addition of Hulu movie access. Also, the ADMS system will now check for updated Internet channel guides every night, accelerating the update process.

"ADMS is dynamic, and grows as quickly as the Internet itself," explains Vin Bruno, Crestron Director of Marketing. "Internet video providers come and go, and new content is added monthly. Crestron is committed to providing the best content as it becomes available and making access, storage and playback as quick and easy as possible."

More than a media server, the Crestron ADMS is the next generation of content delivery and home entertainment. ADMS takes you into a whole new intermedia universe, where all that matters is the content, not the provider. Whether it's on the Web, in the ADMS hard drive, one of the companion Blu-ray changer or NAS drives, a home or network computer - ADMS brings you not only the content you know about, but related material you didn't even know existed, all at lightning speed. With a single user interface and exclusive WorldSearch technology, one search is all it takes.
