Rohan Woods School Gets an Internet Makeover Thanks to SteadyRain

St Louis, MO, August 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- St. Louis-based Internet strategy, design and development firm, SteadyRain, is excited to announce a successful redesign and launch of the Warson Woods-based Rohan Woods School website.

In 2004, SteadyRain and Rohan Woods first worked together to design a successful web presence. The high level of service and personalized attention which SteadyRain provided was a large influencing factor in Rohan Woods deciding to return to SteadyRain for continued Internet solutions.

“Partnering with SteadyRain in 2004 was the genesis of our creative collaboration, which has most recently resulted in the dynamic new web presence for Rohan Woods. When we first approached SteadyRain for a re-design of our site, we were clear that we wanted a site that truly conveyed our actual school culture and environment. The end result was everything we wanted and more,” said Kelly Horn, Head of School for Rohan Woods.

SteadyRain began the re-energizing of www.RohanWoods.org with an in-depth consulting process to gain a deeper understanding of their current and potential market; identifying audiences and triggers and then tying this market overview back to their Internet needs. Most importantly, SteadyRain assisted Rohan Woods in identifying potential growth opportunities for the school.

During the consulting process, SteadyRain identified numerous promising areas of improvement on Rohan Woods School’s current site including the competitive advantage and great potential for a section of the site “Just for Kids.” This area of the site features games and activities for parents and children considering Rohan Woods. It engages both potential students and parents and helps to communicate the tremendous focus the staff has on the children who attend class there.

“Honestly, moments like the one in which we uncovered the ‘Just for Kids’ idea are the reason I’m in the consulting business. Those moments of total clarity and raw innovation are very exciting. The best ideas always come from our clients — it’s just a matter of helping them get to the place that allows them total freedom to create,” said Thompson Knox, Vice President of Internet Strategy at SteadyRain.

In addition to developing the games found in the “Just for Kids” section, SteadyRain filmed, edited and composed the musical score and footage of the promotional video featured in the header of the new site. The production of this video was done in SteadyRain’s new multimedia studio under the direction of Creative Director, Grant Essig.

“Working with and interviewing the students of Rohan Woods was only the beginning of one of the most fun and rewarding projects I’ve taken on at SteadyRain. For me, the project really took off once I got knee deep into editing and scoring the video in our multimedia studio,” said Grant Essig, Creative Director at SteadyRain.

The complete package was launched in July and is sure to be another award-winner for the teams at Rohan Woods and SteadyRain.
