Energy Performance Specialists Selected by the City of Port Washington as Approved Energy Efficient Lighting Contractor for Federal Stimulus Project

Port Washington, WI, August 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Energy Performance Specialists announced today it has been named an approved energy efficient lighting contractor for the City of Port Washington. This selection is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funds for energy efficiency programs. The grant the City of Port Washington received will cover 75% of the cost of the project with other funds coming from Focus on Energy.

Stimulus Funds for energy efficiency are starting to flow into the economy, which is a good sign for Energy Performance Specialists and an even better sign for commercial building owners, managers and tenants.

Port Washington will save approximately $33,200.00 per year in energy costs.
