Seating Still Available from Al Brooks Tickets for "Walking with Dinosaurs" Final Southern California Shows

Over 3 million people have seen “Walking with Dinosaurs” in North America since the show opened in July 2007.

Los Angeles, CA, August 29, 2010 --( Al Brooks Tickets ( today announced that seats are still available for the final “Walking with Dinosaurs” Southern California shows. Over 3 million people have seen “Walking with Dinosaurs” in North America since the show opened in July 2007.

“Walking with Dinosaurs” is a spectacular theatrical event,” say Jeff Brooks, owner of Al Brooks Tickets. “Special video, lighting and sound, along with the creatures themselves, create an incredible experience that every family member will enjoy.”

“Walking with Dinosaurs” is based on the award-winning BBC-TV series which set out to create the most accurate portrayal of dinosaurs ever seen on the screen. During the theatrical production, 17 dinosaurs, some as large as 36 feet tall and 56 feet long, are brought to life in 3D. Narrated by Huxley, an on-set “paleontologist,” the audience is taken on a 200 million year journey through the Mesozoic period when dinosaurs walked the earth.

The show, which has been carefully written and produced without violence for the entire family, includes simulated earthquakes, volcanoes and comets impacting the earth, along with the primal roars of the dinosaurs. A team of master puppeteers operates each of the dinosaurs using state-of-the-art technology specifically developed for the performance.

Because of the size of the dinosaurs, the view of the show is breathtaking from anywhere in the arena. Higher seats provide a panoramic view that allows the audience to take in the entire spectacle, while lower seats provide an “up close and personal” experience.

Says producer Carmen Pavlovic, “It is the closest you’ll ever get to experiencing what it was like when they walked and ruled the earth.”

The final Southern California shows will run from September 1st – 5th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, and September 9th – 12th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The US touring company includes 65 performers and voodoo operators.
