)-- HYPE Cheer & Dance, Inc., Milwaukee’s premier cheerleading and dance company looks to “hype it up” once again with the 2010 Spirit Spectacular competition being hosted by Oak Creek High School on Saturday, October 31st.
“We are really excited to offer this opportunity to our Midwest cheer and Midwest dance teams. This competition is truly for the experienced cheer or dance team or the cheer or dance team that would like the opportunity to get their feet wet and compete in a professional environment,” states Katy Boeck, Event Coordinator.
The HYPE 2010 Spirit Spectacular will also be the first competition in which HYPE will offer bids to the Xtreme Spirit Cheer & Dance Midwest Grand National Championship hosted by the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells December 17-19th. In turn, the Xtreme Spirit Cheer & Dance Championship will offer bids to the USASF World Championship.
The HYPE 2010 Spirit Spectacular is will also offer teams the ability to compete in multiple divisions. Solo, small group, and team registrations are available for cheer or dance; all star or school teams.
“The HYPE competitions are a great offering that we have here in the Midwest and it’s even better than we have now built that relationship with Xtreme Spirit. This way, teams are directly linked to the next step in their professional cheer and dance careers. We would love to see one of our teams make it to the USASF World Championship,” exclaims Ayanna Allen, President.
A new feature to this year’s competition is the coverage by Time Warner Cable’s Wisconsin On Demand and Sports32 coverage team. They will also be conducting a viewers choice award where the winning team can win a grand prize direct from TWC.
Teams from all over the Midwest are encouraged to be apart of the HYPE 2010 Spirit Spectacular competition.
