Launches Annual $25,000 Giveaway

Contest offers high school students the chance to win $25,000 cash for prom or any other school event.

Scottsdale, AZ, September 05, 2010 --( VERGO Interactive Inc. is pleased to present the fifth rendition of Win the Ultimate Prom contest presented by Grand Canyon University. The online contest awards one high school $25,000 cash for prom or any other school event.

From October 1 through November 30, high schools nationwide compete to win the $25,000 grand prize. To participate, students as well as their friends, family and community members at least 13-years-old register on and then vote once a day, every day for their school. The school with the most cumulative votes at the end of the contest wins the $25,000. The winner will be announced on December 15.

The Win the Ultimate Prom contest will also feature weekly contests in which participants can win additional prizes such as prom photobook packages from Shutterfly, extra votes and a Southwest gift card to name a few. Students can also earn additional cash and prizes by signing up to be “PROMoters”, the website’s promotional ground force.
