Local Real Estate Association Addresses Safety Concerns on the Job

Raleigh, NC, September 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Theresa Clark, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (http://www.rrar.com), has announced that the association will host a free safety seminar on Friday, Sept. 17 at 9 a.m., with free breakfast at 8:30 a.m. The seminar is available to Wake County REALTORS® and will be held at RRAR’s office at 111 Realtors Way in Cary. Leigh Woody, senior trainer of Citizens Against Crime, will teach real estate agents how to protect themselves at work and home by reacting appropriately to dangerous situations, being aware of their surroundings and empowering themselves with careful precautions. Other issues that will be discussed include open houses, vacant properties, unfriendly dogs, unsafe property and threatening phone calls.
