Calloway’s Nursery Hosts Sixth Annual Fall Harvest Festival

Fort Worth, TX, September 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On October 2 all Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery locations will transform into a farmer’s market with rows upon rows of Texas grown pumpkins, gourds and squash as the Texas-based garden center hosts its sixth annual Fall Harvest Festival from 9 am until 7 pm in the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston markets.

The family-friendly event offers free activities and crafts for children, free clinics for adults and light refreshments. Throughout the day customers can shop from Calloway’s Pumpkin Patch while children can decorate a free pie pumpkin and participate in various activities such as taking pictures, creating a chalk garden, watching the Mad Science demonstration and playing in the gigantic bounce house. The day will also include several free clinics for adults focusing on fall’s colorful flowers and a fall organic garden.

“After the scorching summer we experienced, we are excited to bring in our unique product line of pumpkins and gourds to accompany the arrival of cooler weather. Fall is here!” Kimberly Bird, Vice President of Retail Marketing remarked.
