Advita Fund USA Hosts the 1st Annual Art for Life cocktail party and silent auction to benefit cancer research at Texas Children’s Cancer Center and support cancer patients from Russia and the former Soviet Union.

The evening will begin at 6 pm with leading researchers from Texas Children’s Cancer Center telling about their ongoing battle with childhood cancer. Arts in Medicine program at TCCC that allows little patients express their feelings through art will showcase some of the touching images created by the children. The unique challenges facing Russian patients in their fight with cancer will be presented by Advita Fund USA.
The silent auction will feature works of young and talented cancer patients treated at Texas Children’s Cancer Center, as well as artwork donated by established artists, and other complementary items. Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served in addition to prize raffle items, generously donated by Momentum MINI.

Proceeds from Art for Life
Proceeds raised will enable cutting-edge research in finding the cure for neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer, and directly support access to care for children and young people with cancer from Russia and the former Soviet Union.
Neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that affects only children, is almost always fatal when it recurs after initial treatment. New treatment methods are urgently needed to find cure for these little patients.
Children and young patients in Russia and the former Soviet Union need improved access to clinical trials for advanced and rare types of cancer. Currently, Russian patients can access only 2% of the studies available to the American patients. Advita Fund USA helps the patients for whom standard therapies no longer work get consultations by the medical experts and access to clinical trials abroad.
