Big Names in UFO Research Join the Institute of Frontier Science

Atlanta, GA, September 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Great things have been happening in the days following the opening of the Institute of Frontier Science. Inspired by the Institute's distinctive mission, some renowned UFO researchers and lecturers have joined the Institute, accepting Fellowships of Frontier Science.

Dennis Balthaser is a UFO researcher based in Roswell, New Mexico, site of the landing and recovery of an extraterrestrial craft in the summer of 1947. This seminal event has been credited with starting the UFO mania that has gripped the world's attention since that time.

Dennis has done over 350 television, radio, and other media interviews, including CNN, MTV, SCI-FI, The TODAY Show, Dateline, Nightline, NBC, ABC Nightly News, Art Bell’s "Coast to Coast AM," Discovery Channel, National Geographic and History Channel.

Billy J. Booth is an expert journalist on the history of the UFO Phenomena, which dates back hundreds of years. He runs the UFO Casebook site at www.ufocasebook.com and writes for UFO's and Aliens at ufos.about.com.

Elaine Douglass, MS is a highly respected researcher on the alien abduction phenomenon. She is the MUFON Utah state director (Mutual UFO Network, www.mufon.com), and an editor of the email quarterly magazine JAR, The Journal of Abduction-Encounter Research, (www.jarmag.com). In the 1990's she was an organizer for Operation Right to Know (ORTK), which sponsored street demonstrations protesting UFO secrecy. She holds a masters degree from MIT in military policy.

Stanton T. Friedman, MSc is a nuclear physicist with experience in numerous classified projects with such companies as GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, Aerojet General Nucleonics, and McDonnell Douglas working in such highly advanced, classified, eventually canceled programs as nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets, and various compact nuclear powerplants for space and terrestrial applications.

Since 1967, Stan has lectured about them at more than 600 colleges and 100 professional groups in 50 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and 16 other countries in addition to various nuclear consulting efforts. He has published more than 90 UFO papers and has appeared on hundreds of radio and TV programs including on Larry King in 2007 and twice in 2008, and many documentaries.

He has provided written testimony to Congressional Hearings, appeared twice at the UN, and been a pioneer in many aspects of ufology including Roswell, Majestic 12, The Betty Hill-Marjorie Fish star map work, analysis of the Delphos, Kansas physical trace case, crashed saucers, flying saucer technology.

Dee Gragg is a much sought-after lecturer and author on the UFO Phenomena. Dee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a licensed, Registered Professional Engineer. By far his most important expertise is his rank as a Field Investigator for Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He has also done extensive crop circle research. His five published technical papers on crop circles have focused on decoding musical notes from the crop circles. He is the international authority in this specialty.

Dee teaches classes about extraterrestrials, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, and crop circles at New Mexico State University.

Philip Mantle is a well-versed UFO researcher and editor for the UFO Matrix Magazine. He is a British author, publicist, lecturer, broadcaster and researcher of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. He is well-known for his research into the infamous and controversial Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction film originally aired on the Fox Network in 1995.

Kathleen Marden earned her B.A. in Social Work at the University of New Hampshire in 1971. Thereafter, she entered into graduate studies in Education at the University of Cincinnati, and later, U.N.H.

Kathy is currently a full time writer and lecturer. She has written papers on the use and misuse of hypnosis in abduction investigations, the ethical use of hypnosis in abduction investigations, the comparative analysis of Betty and Barney Hills' statements made under hypnotic regression versus Betty's dream account of abduction, and a critical analysis of the Harvard false memory study of self reported UFO experiencers. Her 2007 book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, is a case study of her aunt and uncle, Betty and Barney Hills' 1961 UFO close encounter and abduction.
