Canidae Racing Beats the Odds in Nevada

As predicted, the Canidae Off Road Race team was able to overcome all obstacles on their way to a strong ninth place finish Saturday at the 15th Annual SCORE Primm 300 in Primm, Nevada.

San Luis Obispo, CA, September 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In what can only be described as a complete rebuild of the #95 Canidae Natural Pet Foods Chevrolet in less than 2 weeks, the team was able to make the start line of the notoriously rough race. Once the green flag dropped, Scott Whipple would float over the Nevada desert working his way through the field from his 24th starting position. At the halfway point in the race, Whipple would hand over the driving duties to Scott Gailey and the team would continue their way up the ladder. As the checkered flags flew, the #95 Canidae truck crossed the finish in 9th place with a total time of 5:13:00 and an average speed of 52.60 miles per hour. An amazing job by this young team and these great drivers.

Up next for the team is the Granddaddy of them all, the Baja 1000. This race will run the entire Baja peninsula in its original format and will test all the teams to their limits. The green flag drops November 18th in Ensenada, Mexico. Keep track of the team as they prepare the truck for the race and during the team’s pre-runs of the course by going to www.canidaeracing.com.
