Noventri Technology Provides Solution to Power City of Hagerstown Channel 6

The City of Hagerstown upgrades Channel 6 TV production studio with Noventri SF-3000 technology that provides much needed features for programming.

Smithsburg, MD, September 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Noventri recently installed the SF-3000 Player and the SF-3000 Creation Station / Network Manager at the City of Hagerstown’s Channel 6 production studio in Hagerstown, Maryland.

The City desired an upgrade that would simplify and streamline production processes and allow advanced program scheduling. The SF-3000 more than met those objectives and provides the City with many features that they previously did not have.

“The SF-3000 from Noventri has eliminated the use of several pieces of equipment,” says Eric Hastings, TV Production and Web Coordinator at the City of Hagerstown. “ Before we had to use various components in order to switch between daily stills and live video, but this technology does everything and we can easily schedule programming in advance as well as assemble content and publish directly to the channel.”

The SF-3000 technology, manufactured exclusively by Noventri, was originally designed to manage cable TV stations and was dubbed ‘the TV station in a box’; but later became a popular choice for digital signage networks. It is used as a digital signage network solution by such names as Aramark, Houston Astros’ Minute Maid Park, Baltimore Orioles Camden Yards, and Morgan State University, to name a few.
