SMB Technology Solutions, LLC (SMBTS) Professional Becomes One of Atlanta’s First Citrix Certified Administrators in XenApp 6

Atlanta, GA, September 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- SMB Technology Solutions, LLC (SMBTS), a full-service technology consulting firm, which specializes in virtualization technology for Small and Midsized businesses, announced Co-Founder/Citrix Solutions Architect; Christopher Buford recently received the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) certification for Citrix’s newest application delivery product XenApp 6, This certification validates the skills and knowledge required to install, configure and manage Citrix XenApp 6 on-demand applications.

Buford, earned the CCA certification by demonstrating product expertise on Citrix XenApp 6 and by passing the more challenging beta exam for the XenApp 6 product. Citrix beta exams are used to field test questions. As such they contain three times the number of questions as a production exam and generally take three times as long for candidates to complete. Beta exams are released before any Citrix training courses for the product have been released. Only a select few are able to take beta exams because registration begins on the first day of the beta period and ends once we have reached the required number of candidates.

Buford has more than 14 years experience in information technology with 12 of those being Citrix related experience. In addition to his recently earned CCA certification, Buford also holds additional certifications in Citrix XenApp 5 on 2008, Citrix Certified Sales Professional 2010, VMware VCP, VMware VSP, VMware VTSP, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, and CompTIA A+.
