The Cereal Bowl Announces South Florida Expansion

The Cereal Bowl plans franchise offerings for January 2007 with several locations planned for Broward County

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, January 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Since the opening of The Cereal Bowl’s Miami location last year, founders Kenneth Rader, Joshua Rader, and Michael Glassman have recognized that their unique idea for a cereal café has become a national craze with people traveling great distances just to see their flagship location. “After having been featured on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, we received hundreds of emails from entrepreneurs as far away as Australia, who were interested in our brand,” said Kenneth Rader President and Co-Founder

Following over a year's worth of National Media exposure the young entrepreneurs have been flooded with phone calls and emails asking for them to bring The Cereal Bowl brand to their community. During this period, over 2,000 franchise requests and investment inquires have made it clear to The Cereal Bowl team that their idea for a café themed around cereal had sparked a fire with other entrepreneurs throughout North America, including Broward County.

“We are excited about our Broward expansion plans,” said Director of Operations Carlos O’ Brien. “We have been working closely with potential franchises throughout Broward and have some great locations in the works.”

The Cereal Bowl has spent the last several months working with its franchise team on their concept and in developing a product, creating proprietary menu items such as Freeze ‘N Flakes which infuses various popular cereals into frozen yogurt as well as Oaties which are a unique blend of oatmeal and smoothies, “The Cereal Bowl has become more than just a great place to get eat, it has become an “experience,” said Vice-President and Co-founder Joshua Rader. “Creating unique products and proprietary recipes gives us the chance to offer something more to our franchisees than others in the market can provide,” he added.

The Cereal Bowl has engaged Florida based law firm Carlton Fields, to handle its intellectual property as well as franchising matters. Recognized as one of the most respected law firms in the United States, Carlton Fields has represented over two-thirds of all Fortune 500 companies.
