Princeton Longevity Center Enters Agreement with Ziosoft

Leading Cardiac CTA Educator to Offer Virtual Classroom for 3D and 4D Visualization Using Supercomputing Technology

Princeton, NJ, September 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ziosoft, Inc., a leader in supercomputing, advanced visualization and functional analytics for the medical care market, announced it has entered into an agreement with the Princeton Longevity Center (PLC) to supply Ziosoft's PhyZiodynamic solutions for educational courses on cardiac 3D and 4D visualization. A sample version of PLC's on-line training, using Ziosoft's supercomputing technology, was recently showcased at the European Congress of Cardiology held in Stockholm, August 28 - 31, 2010.

"We are very excited to be offering these new courses featuring PhyZiodynamic solutions," said John Rumberger, PhD, MD, FACC, director of cardiac imaging for PLC. "This is the first time we have been able to provide a completely software-based, virtual educational experience without needing to ship proprietary hardware or require physicians to seek out a dedicated workstation at their facility. It can be done on any computer in any part of the world, regardless of location."

Ziosoft's PhyZiodynamic supercomputing technology is based on dynamic, instantaneous analysis of chaotic information in weather which has extremely similar data characteristics to the human body. "PhyZiodynamics is a very powerful technology which has a minimal software footprint," said David, Fein, MD, medical director for PLC. "This is what allows access to amazing 3D/4D images and technology from anywhere. We can save physicians thousands of dollars in travel expenses while allowing the freedom to study high quality, educational courses with test cases at anytime."

PLC operates its educational courses under Cardiac CT Training. Cardiac CT provides innovative programs designed to offer cardiologists, radiologists, primary care physicians and fellows in training high quality, intensive courses in cardiac and vascular CT. The experts at PLC have trained thousands of clinicians, have provided contributors to the CBCCT board exam, and have published dozens of scientific papers on CT physics and cardiac CT performance and interpretation.

"PhyZiodynamic solutions, combined with the expertise of PLC professors, will provide state-of-the-art training to a far greater number of physicians seeking advanced education in this critically important area," said Rob Royea, president and COO of Ziosoft. "We look forward to enabling PLC's clients to apply supercomputing technology across the patient continuum, anywhere at any time."
