Upward Foundation Announces Touch the Sky Breakfast to Benefit Special Needs Children

Phoenix, AZ, January 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Upward Foundation, which serves children with special needs, has announced that the “Touch The Sky” breakfast will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at the Phoenix Country Club, located at 2901 N. 7th St. The breakfast will celebrate the Upward Foundation’s 50 years of helping children with special needs “Touch The Sky,” and will feature the following speakers: Charli Turner-Thorne, head coach, ASU Women’s Basketball; Jon Du Pre, weekend anchor for ABC 15; and Jeff Munn, radio voice for ASU Lady Sun Devil Basketball.

“I am pleased to announce this breakfast,” said Alan Havir, director for the Upward Foundation. “We have helped so many children with special needs to lead better lives in the past 50 years, and it is a great honor to see their smiling faces day in and day out.”
