Haunted High Build Complete: Tickets on Sale for Haunted High and OPEF’s Haunted Ball

Oconomowoc, WI, September 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Organizers confirm the re-build of the so-called "Haunted High" in Oconomowoc is complete. The spectacle now encompasses over 60,000 square feet, making it Wisconsin's largest haunt. Ticket holders will traverse three floors of varying spectacles.

New this year are the boiler room, a 20 foot "Tunnel of Terror," a haunted cellar, a maze of spectral reflections, a new vortex tunnel, and more. Visitors will experience an array of special effects, lighting and sound as well as over 65 “live” costumed spectres, zombies and poltergeists.

“Twenty-five (25) construction volunteers and countless detailing helpers have devoted a hundreds of hours of labor over the last three months,” said Dan Doble, project manager of the event. “From the locker rooms to the balcony, the attraction is sure to scare even the most cynical ‘student’ visitor.” Doble, who became involved thanks to his own love of haunted attractions, added, “my fellow haunt designers, a team of five crazy men, have done an amazing job of dramatically increasing the scare factor for this year’s Haunted High.”

Organizers expect attendance of over 7,000 visitors to the site in 2010. Volunteers, especially adults of all ages as well as high school students, are still needed for scary acting roles and behind-the-scenes assistance.
