Wilshire Comedy Group Brings Another All Star Comedy Show "Comedy in Paradise" to Hauppauge November 7th
Another great night of comedy comes to Hauppauge, NY with headliner Mike Jacobs.
Hauppauge, NY, September 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Headlining this evening of comedy is Mike Jacobs.
Mike Jacobs' edgy brand of "autobiographical" comedy traces its roots to the north end of Hartford, CT where he was voted "funniest kid" in his 6th grade class along with "best legs"... but don't count on seeing them. His stories of "life" are hilarious, relevant to everyone... and true.
His passion for comedy and laughter has had audiences in stitches from DC to Connecticut. After studying philosophy in college he quickly asked the question, "I've grown up neurotic. Am I the only one?" His performances seek to answer that very question.
Feel the energy as this self-proclaimed "Tough Jew" takes the stage and walks you up and down the "mean" streets of his very funny life. Mike was a finalist at the 2009 Funniest Jew in NYC Contest, a finalist in TreeHouse Comedy's Funniest Comic in CT, Caroline's Comedy Final Four contest, a laugh-off of NYC's TOP 64 comedians and a runner up in the 2010 Funniest Jew in NYC Contest. He was recently chosen as one of only 8 comics to participate in the CT Comedy Idol show at FunnyBones in Manchester, CT.
Also appearing on the show is Stan Keshner. Stan's comedy style is direct from the famous Catskills of upstate New York. Clean, cutting and always hilarious. Stan's jokings about his ex-wife, family and life relate to everyone. He's been featured in TV commercials and performs regularly at comedy venues in the NY area.
This great night of comedy takes place Sunday November 7th at the Paradise Diner, 579 Vets Highway (Rte 454), Hauppauge, NY. Seating starts at 7:00pm, and tickets are $29.95 per person, which includes a 4 course dinner, tax and gratuity. Tickets must be paid in advance by calling (631)724-1778.
