National Underclassmen Lacrosse Combines to Hit 14 Nationwide Locations

Mahwah, NJ, September 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Underclassmen Combine announced they will return for their second season of lacrosse events, hitting 14 markets spanning from Maine to California.

In 2009, The NUC held lacrosse combines for the first time, running five successful events en route to an invite only camp this past summer. The combines are open to all high school boys and girls, who will compete simultaneously.

All athletes will partake in athletic testing, including the shuttle run, vertical jump and medicine ball toss, as well as lacrosse drills, skills and scrimmages.

"We are glad to be back in the lacrosse market," said NUC President & CEO David Schuman. "Through hard work and dedication, our football program has expanded rapidly. Considering lacrosse's rapid rise in popularity, I believe we can make a major splash while providing athletes with the type of recruiting exposure the sport has never seen before."

All participants will receive a t-shirt, full evaluation and access to create a free online profile. Statistics of every athlete will also be sent out to colleges at all three levels, club teams and various lacrosse recruiting bureaus.

"Our 2010 events are less than a month away and I am excited to see some of America's top talent," stated Schuman. "This year is going to be huge!"

Since their inception in 2005, the National Underclassmen Combine guided more than 50,000 athletes from all walks of life. 70 percent of the NUC's alumni went on to play in college, with 20 percent earning D1 or D1AA scholarships.

Athletes can sign up for the event of their choice and get more information by going to nuclacrosse.com or calling 201-485-7273.
