Could Your Home Use Some Pointers from a Professional Interior Designer?

Two homes will be chosen for professional design consultation in Boston Center for Adult Education Program

Salem, MA, January 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Starting Saturday, January 20, a 4-week interior design course for Boston residents will be held by the Boston Center for Adult Education. Two lucky course participants, whose homes are accessible via public transportation will receive an in-home consultation and analysis from interior designer and instructor, Sally Wilson.

In this course, students will learn the key principles of interior design and how to translate them into reality in their homes. Through discussion and hands-on work, they will learn how to think about the emotional and practical goals of their homes' transformation; learn how to integrate color, texture, and lighting; and discover how to work with scale and furniture placement.

Classes are held Saturday afternoons from 1-3 pm at the historic Gamble Mansion at 5 Commonwealth Avenue. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first served basis and class size will be limited. Cost for the 4-week course is $101 for members and $112 for non-members. To register, call the BCAE at (617) 267-4430 or register online at www.bcae.org.
