Grammy Award Winner Kenny Loggins in Concert Nov. 12 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

Dover, DE, October 01, 2010 --( Two-time Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter, Kenny Loggins, will appear in the Rollins Center® ballroom at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino on Friday, Nov. 12 for one performance at 9 p.m. Tickets from $35 to $75 went on sale today at noon.

Kenny Loggins’ enduring career in popular music spans nearly four decades as a professional singer/songwriter. For the first half of the Seventies, Loggins was, along with Jim Messina, part of the popular duo Loggins & Messina that formed in the wake of the classic 1971 album Kenny Loggins with Jim Messina Sittin’ In, originally meant to be Loggins’ debut solo album.

In 1976, Loggins explored his own musical path and released 1977’s Celebrate Me Home, with its popular title track, and 1978’s Nightwatch, which featured Loggins’ smash duet with Stevie Nicks, “Whenever I Call You Friend.” Loggins has since recorded such popular highlights as 1979’s Keep The Fire (“This Is It”), 1982’s High Adventure (“Don’t Fight It,” “Heart To Heart”) 1991’s deeply personal and acclaimed Leap Of Faith featuring “Conviction Of The Heart,” 1993’s live retrospective Outside: From the Redwoods and 2003’s It’s About Time.

During this same period, Loggins recorded a series of Top Ten movie soundtrack hits such as “I’m Alright” from Caddyshack, “Footloose” from Footloose, “Danger Zone” from Top Gun and “Nobody’s Fool” from Caddyshack II, as well as co-writing the Grammy-winning Song of the Year, “What A Fool Believes.”

Kenny Loggins has established himself in many musical genres. Today, the two-time Grammy-winner has crafted an uplifting song cycle created to please both parents and children with All Join In, his first album of up-tempo music for the whole family. This newest album joins a body of work that already includes two groundbreaking albums of lullabies for children, 1994’s Return to Pooh Corner and 2000’s More Songs from Pooh Corner.

“When I made my first record for kids, a lot of people around me were worried,” said Loggins. “They thought that people wouldn’t care -- or that I’d instantly lose all my rock & roll credibility. But I felt making music for kids and their parents could mean so much. I feel like this music can really connect with a lot of people of different ages.”
