Momentum Marketing Provides Public Relations for Dine Around for the Library


Charleston, SC, October 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pam Hartley, Founder of Momentum Marketing, announced today that the company is providing public relations and collateral pieces for the third annual Daniel Island Harvest Tour of Homes Dine Around. The tour will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All of the proceeds from the tour and the Dine Around benefit the Daniel Island Library.

Hartley said, “My son is a regular visitor at the Daniel Island Library and I am a patron of all of the Daniel Island restaurants. These places play a role in my life and I am happy that Momentum is able to play a role in theirs.” She added, “With our efforts we will help raise money for the library by expanding the restaurants’ recognition beyond the Island to bring in more customers.”

The Dine Around includes every restaurant on Daniel Island. Each Daniel Island restaurant has agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds that day to The Friends of the Daniel Island Library fund. Tour participants will receive a Restaurant Pass found inside their tour tickets. When they show the Restaurant Pass to their servers, up to 20% of their meal cost will be contributed. Home tour participants can enjoy the home tour and start or end with lunch or dinner at an Island restaurant. Some restaurants also have take out options for tour goers who want to dine at home or have a picnic.

The Daniel Island Harvest Home Tour and Dine Around is a tour showcasing four beautiful homes on Daniel Island, SC and includes the Dine Around option at any of the island restaurants. The Tour is hosted by Friends of the Daniel Island Library, a subsidiary of the Friends of The Berkeley County Library. The four homes on the tour will feature distinctive architecture and unique interior design and include floral arrangements from three local florists. Each home will also host a meet and greet with a popular local author such as Ken Burger, Holly Herrick and Kate Jerome - all of whom will provide literary conversation and sign copies of their books.

Tickets for the Harvest Home Tour cost $20 payable by cash or check in advance at these locations: Daniel Island Real Estate, A Floral Affair, and Island Expressions on Daniel Island and at Zinnia in Mt. Pleasant. Tickets can also be obtained from Home Tour committee members. In addition, tickets will be available the day of the tour for $25 at the Daniel Island Library. All proceeds of the Harvest Tour of Homes and Dine Around for the Library will stay on the Island and be used to enhance the Daniel Island Library and its resources.
