Regional President of The Chef’s Academy Selected for Morrisville Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee

Jayson M. Boyers to Focus on Morrisville Economic Development Issues.

Raleigh, NC, October 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 107-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Regional President Jayson M. Boyers will serve on Morrisville’s Economic Development Committee for the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce. The committee serves as a focus group on all economic development issues involving the Chamber.

Located in Indianapolis, The Chef’s Academy is opening a second academy with a 4.37-acre campus in North Carolina’s Triangle in August 2011. Jayson manages both the Indy and Triangle campuses, with full profit and loss responsibilities for each. Prior to The Chef’s Academy, Boyers held positions at American United Life Insurance Company in Indianapolis, where he was a disbursement specialist; Today’s Temporary in Indianapolis, where he served as project coordinator for HNTB Engineering on DOT-funded projects; and Church of Christ/UMC, where he served as youth minister and education director. Jayson earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Indianapolis with a Liberal Arts major and emphasis in business, religion and psychology, and he has a master’s in leadership development from Saint Mary of the Woods College.
