A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Montecue J. Lowry holds a Ph.D. in history and a Ph.D. in physics. While in the United States Army he held command and staff positions in the United States and overseas and taught tactics in three Army schools. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the Vinnell Corporation in Saudi Arabia and for the CIA. He is the author of The Forge of West German Rearmament (1990), Glasnost (1991), Great Captains of the Faith (2005), and Pioneers, Patriots, and Preachers (2008).
