Taipan Publishing Group Welcomes Fall E-Commerce Interns

Baltimore, MD, October 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Taipan Publishing Group, a leading financial research publishing service, is excited to welcome the interns who have accepted positions in E-Commerce within the Fall Internship Program.

The company would like to extend a warm welcome to:

-Brittany Brown, E-Commerce Intern, Towson University
-Krista Mascia, E-Commerce Intern, Roanoke College
-Leah Smith, E-Commerce Intern, Stevenson University
-Madeline Sands, E-Commerce Intern, Loyola University

The E-Commerce internship program offers a wide variety of positions for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in marketing, English, public relations, advertising, viral marketing and graphic design. The students receive real-world, hands-on experience in their field of interest by working closely with Taipan Publishing Group’s various departments. E-Commerce interns have the chance to develop and carry out marketing and public relations campaigns. Editorial interns are challenged to write content for whitepapers and optimized website content for SEO. These types of projects and more enable interns to further enhance their resume for potential future employers.

“I’ve learned a lot in such little time and I am really enjoying myself”’ – Krista Mascia, Roanoke College.

“The selected fall interns are extremely bright and will be a huge help to the promotions and inner workings of the Taipan Publishing Group brand and website. This semester they will be trained to update and manage our website, develop news articles through content management systems, create press releases to extend our client base and much more,” said Missi Carmen, SEO & SEM Manager, who oversees the internship program. “Helping our interns reach their maximum potential is essential to our success at Taipan Publishing Group.”

Taipan Publishing Group is located in Mount Vernon, Baltimore, and is accessible to students of the many universities in Baltimore city and surrounding areas.
