Philadelphia’s Independent Film Festival since 1996, FirstGlance runs from Thursday, October 14th through Sunday, October 17th 2010 at Franklin Theater in The Franklin Institute, 222 North 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. At FirstGlance, audiences decide the winners, and viewers have the opportunity to mix and mingle with filmmakers, cast and crew.

The winning short from an emerging filmmaker will screen at FirstGlance Hollywood 11 in April 2011.

FirstGlance programs multiple projects per screening so there’s something for everyone -- providing a wide array of entertainment at a reasonable price. Cast from films this year include both up-and-coming and familiar faces from TV and the big screen like Raymond J Berry, Michael Weatherly, James Russo, Tom Berenger, Guillaume Faure, Gary Busey, James Smuthwaite, Amelia Rose, Emmy Winners Christopher Lloyd and John Lithgow, Troian Bellisario (star of ABC FAMILY'S hit series “Pretty Little Liars”), Kate Burton (“Grey's Anatomy”), Peter Vack (Doug Liman and MTV's upcoming "I Just Want My Pants Back"), Paul Iacono (MTV's "The Hard Times of R.J. Berger"), Anne Hathaway and Leeza Gibbons. Documentaries feature tap artist Kenji Igus and his father Darrow Igus, as well as artist Blakely Dadson.

FirstGlance Film Festival attendees are invited to celebrate indie films and network with filmmakers, cast, and crews at after parties throughout the event. Parties follow the screenings on October 14th at Noche, 1901 Chestnut Street, October 15th and 16that The Mission Grill, 1835 Arch Street, and October 17th at Drinker’s Pub, 1903 Chestnut Street.
