)-- epcSolutions’ RFIDTagManager won the largest percentage of Wal*Mart suppliers implementing RFID in 2006. RFIDTagManager has been installed for all Wal*Mart delivery methods and is being used for all types of products. Referencable customers include suppliers for frozen foods, clothing, sporting goods, auto parts, produce, candy and other products for direct store delivery (DSD), distribution center delivery (DCD) and direct store via distribution center delivery (DSDC). RFIDTagManager is in use both as a standalone (“Slap and Ship”) application and a fully integrated application connected to a variety of backend systems such as SAP, BaaN, Highjump, Oracle, AS400, as well as Provia (also known as Infor).
epcSolutions is fortunate to have a network of world-class RFID system integrator and reseller partners. epcSolutions leverages their supply chain and barcode expertise to produce successful RFID installations. “Together with our partners we’ve done it all when it comes to Wal*Mart’s RFID compliance requirements,” states Charles Williams, CTO of epcSolutions. Mr. Williams continues, “Our implementations include the largest number of AS400 integrations, print applicator systems, custom handheld applications, 24/7 self-running applications, automated RFID label generation from barcode scans, automated conveyor systems, you name it, we’ve done it.”
RFIDTagManager is the easiest RFID application to install and use. Customers complete a basic installation in 10 to fifteen minutes. After installation customers print their first set of RFID labels in under an hour and ship those tagged cases and pallets the same day. “As the systems integrator with the most production implementations of the epcSolutions product, our success can be attributed to the functionality and scalability of RFIDTagManager,” said B. Dwain Farley, Chief Executive Officer of Domino EIS. “With such a strong software product as a piece of our Compliance 1st (C1st) offering, it compliments our services, simplifies our deployments and sets the stage for expanding the customers project to encompass higher volumes and more SKU’s.” RFIDTagManager supports every major brand of EPC GEN2 hardware including Symbol Technology, Zebra Technology, Printronix, Intermec, Alien Technology, PSC, Psion Teklogix and Datamax. RFIDTagManager comes complete with pre-built Wal*Mart-compliant RFID labels and supports optional label formats from BarTender, NiceLabel, TL Ashford, Teklynks, and others. RFIDTagManager integrates non-RFID devices such as light stacks, motion detectors and PLC devices as part of a complete RFID implementation.
