Local REALTORS® Association Community Service Committee Receives Support

Raleigh, NC, October 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Theresa Clark, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (http://www.rrar.com), has announced that the Association’s Community Service Committee has recently received a monetary donation from Stacey Anfindsen, secretary and treasurer at RRAR. The donation was made in the name of Anfindsen’s father-in-law, William Anthony Price, a 50-year realtor and former REALTOR of the Year in the Augusta, Ga. market.

RRAR’s Community Service Committee provides numerous opportunities for RRAR members to engage in projects that serve the local community. The committee has supported local nonprofit organizations including Project Angel Tree, Miracle League, The Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen, Building Together Ministries, InterFaith Food Shuttle and resources for seniors. Each spring, the committee offers scholarships to local seniors that are actively involved in community service.

Quotes:
“The committee is extremely grateful for this generous donation by Stacey,” said Clark. “It is wonderful to be supported for our causes and work in the local community. We will make sure it will be allocated to support those most in need in our area.”
