Orient TV Recently Launched "Akhbar Al Mashreq" and a Series of New Programs
Orient TV has recently launched its news service “Akhbar Al Mashreq” on Sunday October 10th, in an attempt to focus on the interests of Arab viewers in a way that helps them activate their humane role in making and following events, steering away from unpleasant news and scenes that are shown by other channels and do not interest viewers.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The news service at Orient TV is broadcasted daily at 9:00 pm UAE time, except Fridays. The news cast presents news with human dimensions, whether on the political, economic, social or cultural scenes. It is complemented the next day by the daily "Akhbar Al 3alam" program, at 7:00 pm UAE time, in addition to several news summaries.
Commenting on the revamped news service, Mr. Jamal Demloj, News Director at Orient TV, said that the revamped news service at the channel aims at touching the real world around us by humanizing the political and military events, away from politicizing effects and guided by the ethics of journalism.
Heading the list of new programs is "Balad Park", a weekly program that analyzes the latest events in the Arab world and discusses the issues that matter to viewers, presenting accurate information and asking questions that need to be answered. The program presents the elite of intellectuals, journalists and decision makers and presents reports that help deliver the message and complete the picture. “Balad Park” is hosted by Ayman Abdel Nour and shown every Sunday at 11:00 pm UAE time.
The “Al Ra2i Al Thaleth" program is an extension and replacement to the "Share3 Al Sa7afa" program, as it is dedicated to opinion journalism as well as monitoring and analyzing the writings of decision makers in global media and the reflections on the Arab and Middle Eastern regions. "Al Ra2i Al Thaleth" is broadcasted from Sunday through Thursday at 7:30 pm UAE time, hosted by Hani Nasr.
