Eligibility for the courses varies depending on the qualifications students already hold, any work experience they may or may not have, as well as their future desires & aspirations.

Non degree courses are NVQ Levels 3 and 4 Health & Social Care for those with a medically related degree (including nursing) who do not achieve IELTS 6.5, as well as those with a medically related background (non-degree). Please contact ISA to discuss individual eligibility. The course duration is 1 year per level. NVQ Level 3 Child Care is for those with a medically related background (degree or non-degree) with comprehensive child care experience (please contact ISA to discuss individual eligibility). The duration of the course is 1 year. Pharmacy Services for Graduate Pharmacists who do not achieve IELTS 6.5 and the duration of the course is 2 years. Dental Nursing is for Graduate Dentists who do not achieve IELTS 6.5 and the duration of the course is 2 years.

ISA requires all non-degree course students to obtain a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.
