New Release from Award-Winning Authors

Mount Vernon, NY, October 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- "Pirate Gabriella Sails the Five Oceans" is the new children's picture book from Jerry and Patsy Di Leo. The twin brothers' first book, "Gabriella and Her Bouquet of Friends" won a 2010 Premier Book Award.

The children books are inspired by Jerry Di Leo's four-year old daughter, Gabriella.

In "Pirate Gabriella Sails the Five Oceans," Gabriella uses pirate talk as she tells readers about the five oceans of the world. The book contains colorful illustrations by Richa Kinra, who is based in India.

In addition to the the book, "Pirate Gabriella! The 2011 Calendar," which has images from the book, was also published. Included in the calendar are Gabriella's birthday and Talk Like a Pirate Day.

The Mount Vernon natives have a third book in the works titled "Gabriella Counts to Ten in Eight Languages."
