Econo Lube Auto Care of Everett is Offering a Free Brake Service in Exchange for a Bag of Groceries

Econo Lube Auto Care in Everett is providing free brakes in exchange for a bag of groceries for the Food Bank. “This drive started last week and we already have several hundred pounds of food. It is heart-warming to see the groceries piling in. People are bringing in groceries even without needing brakes,” says store manager Ken Renfro.

With the weather turning colder, demand for food and clothing at the Food Bank increases. Every food drive initiative helps to increase supplies to the needy. Econo Lube Auto Care in Everett will conduct a complimentary safety inspection of Customers' vehicles. If a vehicle needs brake pads, they will supply and install them free of charge. Other brake components, services and repairs will be charged at Econo Lube Auto Care's normal competitive rates minus the brake pads and installation, of course.

“It’s great to see new and familiar faces at our shop, especially with bags of food! Sandee Richards, President of the Salt of the Earth Food Bank was absolutely delighted at the sheer amount of food that had been brought in. A second load is ready to be picked up already. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those helping out,” owner Bob Tollenaar.
