FlyingPeas Adds Gift Registry Service Powered by eWish.com

San Francisco, CA, January 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- FlyingPeas, a recently launched weboutique dedicated to selling hip baby products, today announces a new gift registry service designed to make gift buying simple and convenient. Owner Terra Carmichael says that finding hip and high quality baby products can be hard to find. “Our hope is that FlyingPeas will make it easier to find, shop, and buy sassy products for kids.”

The integration of the eWish registry to FlyingPeas means shoppers can set up a gift registry quickly and easily and then use convenient Add-to-Registry Buttons to build a gift list. Friends visit the registry to view the list of gifts and make a purchase on-line or by emailing FlyingPeas directly. All purchases are automatically removed from the list to eliminate duplicate gifts. The gift registry can be used for a variety of occasions, including baby showers, newborn gifts and children’s birthday parties.

FlyingPeas started as Carmichael became interested in sales and starting her own business (She already has a full-time job, not to mention being a mother of twins). She explains, “I love babies and all the fun products that can accompany them. I’ve purchased many baby shower and newborn gifts in my day and wanted step away from purchasing baby blue and powder pink products without sacrificing quality.  Surprisingly, this was difficult.  I found that the cool-enough products were rarely high quality, and the high quality products were not very exciting.  On the rare occasion that I found a product that met my ‘hip and high quality standards’ I was ecstatic.  I designed FlyingPeas to meet these same standards.”
