Oakville, ON, Canada, October 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Fotobounce 3.1, the latest release of Applied Recognition’s advanced photo-sharing and organizing software achieves what many have thought is out of reach – the compatibility of privacy and online photos. Fotobounce users, affectionately known as “bouncers,” are able to decide which photos and albums are to be shared and with whom in their “circle of trust.”

Fotobounce 3.1 also demonstrates its continued commitment to add user-friendly features to make organizing, sharing and printing photos fun and easy through tools such as Fotomail.

New in Fotobounce 3.1:

Photo sharing with privacy.

Users define the sharing controls for their sharing partners ("bouncers"). This ensures that only those who are supposed to see certain photos are actually the people with access to those photos.

Google and Yahoo contacts can be utilized to invite people to share photos.

Newly introduced with Fotobounce 3.1 is the unique Fotomail feature. This utility allows users to email full resolution photos from any portable camera device directly to their Fotobounce system on their desktop.

More user-friendly features without sacrificing function.

When viewing photos in the viewer and tagging faces with names, Fotobounce will tab automatically between unidentified faces to speed up the tagging process.

New sharing setup wizards ensure the creation and management of private sharing groups are quick and effortless.

When users drag and drop photo thumbnails, the target destinations are highlighted. This feature makes target options more obvious.

High-quality photo products – printed direct from Fotobounce via the LifePics network

Unique to Fotobounce, users can print their photos directly from Fotobounce with LifePics digital photo solutions. By selecting an album and choosing the print option, photos are sent directly to the LifePics online interface. With their photos easily uploaded to LifePics, Fotobounce users can order thousands of products, including prints, photo books, personalized greeting cards, photo calendars, enlargements, and much more. Users simply identify a local retailer for printing their photos by entering their zip or postal code and selecting from the list of area retailers. Once the order is placed, it can be picked up in as little as an hour from the retailer or delivered directly to the customer’s home.

These are just a few of the exciting new features available in Fotobounce 3.1.
