Adelphi University to Host an Exhibition by Adelphi University Art Faculty

Garden City, NY, October 31, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Adelphi University is proud to present its annual “Art Faculty Exhibition” featuring works by nine faculty members: Eliz Alahverdian, Hannah Allen, Patricia Buttice, Rick Brazill, Geoffrey Grogan, Pam Koehler, Anti Liu, Kellyann Monaghan, and Courtney Weida. The exhibition, located in the Ruth S. Harley University Center Gallery, features a broad selection of two-and three-dimensional media. The exhibition opens November 2, 2010 and runs through November 30, 2010, with a free opening reception to be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The annual Art Faculty Exhibition showcases work by Adelphi’s professional working artists in their respective fields. Rotating every three years, all faculty members exhibit their work for the Adelphi community and its worldwide visitors. This year’s exhibition presents an extensive selection of media: from photography, printmaking, calligraphy, and painting, to collage, a printed graphic novel, and ceramic sculpture.
