)-- Fire & Ice at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino will present a line up of amazing cover and tribute bands this November including Rock Bottom, the premier East Coast tribute to KISS, on Nov. 13, Total Soul cover band on Nov. 20, and Bon Jovi tribute band, Bad Medicine on Nov. 27.
Rock Bottom is an Ocean City, Md., based KISS tribute band playing classics from the ‘70s and ‘80s, like “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Strutter,” “King of The Nighttime World,” “Hotter Than Hell,” and “C’Mon and Love Me.” The look and sound is an exact replica of the original Gods of Thunder from the 1976 era. The stage show is acclaimed as one of the best around with amazing vocals, blood spitting demon actions, a crushing drum solo and the ever famous smokin’ guitar.
Total Soul is an 11-piece R&B, soul, classic Disco and Motown-style group which performs hit songs from the ‘60s through today. With a mix of four-part vocal harmony, a soul-driven rhythm section and hot horns, Total Soul entertains with slick dance moves and smooth harmonies reminiscent of The Temptations and The Four Tops. Each singer is featured as a lead vocalist, exhibiting extraordinary vocal expertise. The band plays and dances throughout the room encouraging members from the crowd to join them on stage. “Brickhouse,” “Stomp,” “Get Ready,” “Disco Inferno,” “Love Train,” “Boogie Down,” “Dancin’ in the Streets,” “You Make Me Feel Brand New,” and so many more make up Total Soul’s repertoire of soul favorites.
Bad Medicine has spent the last seven years honing the look and sound of Bon Jovi to become one of the most sought-after tribute shows in the nation. The band boasts five top-tier musicians whose shared musical histories include Thin Lizzy, Great White and Brett Michaels. Incredible vocal talents blended with Steve Sage’s uncanny resemblance to Jon Bon Jovi allow Bad Medicine to be hailed as the No. 1 Bon Jovi Tribute in the U.S. Bad Medicine is billed as the only tribute band hired by Jon Bon Jovi’s Philly Soul Organization and has been hired for Bon Jovi fan club events (run by Jon’s family).
