About the author:

Julie DeGon grew up on a ranch in California with her twin brother and family. Julie moved to North Idaho after graduation from high school in 1980. There she met and married the love of her life, Jerry, in 1984. Jerry died from diabetic complications in December of 1990. Suddenly a single parent, Julie raised their son Levi until he died in a tragic car accident in July 2007 at the age of twenty. Julie currently resides in the house that she and Jerry bought together in Post Falls, Idaho.
