There are nearly 150 lots from “Brushwood”, the old Ballantine Mansion in Bernardsville, New Jersey included in this auction. Accenting the offering are period furniture and high style reproductions like the Baker Furniture Chinoiserie-Decorated Chinese Chippendale Breakfront Cabinet. Other pieces include numerous botanical prints, paintings and accessories. From a Southern collector, they have a group of four prints by John James Audubon. All came from noted dealer Graham Arader and have been part of a fine Virginia collection until now. The star in this small lot is the image of the Great Horned Owl. The monumental Reed and Barton Francis I Coffee and Tea Service weighs over twenty-five pounds.
