Philadelphia, PA, November 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Compliance Implementation Services’ (CIS) Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations Jim Collins recently participated in the 5th annual Robert Half Executive Roundtable discussion at the Carolina Club on the campus of the University of North Carolina to address increased Chief Financial Officer-Chief Information Officer collaboration.

The event was attended by 150 senior-level representatives from Triangle-area organizations, and panelists offered varying, candid assessments of ways for the CFO and CIO to envision and achieve strategic goals that transcend business functions and titles.

The roundtable discussion was moderated by Harvey Schmitt, CEO of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and executives from Red Hat, the City of Raleigh, Duke Clinical Research Institute, Pentair Water Pool and Spa, and Martin Marietta Materials joined Mr. Collins in a solutions-oriented conversation intended to improve the often contentious relationship between a company’s top leaders with often divergent agendas.

With an eye toward the future, Collins commented that the current economy dictates that a company’s financial resources and its technological capital should not, and cannot, be considered as separate worlds, but overlapping institutions.
