TVS Television Network to Revive Wednesday Night Fights from the CasaBlanca Casino Resort in Mesquite, Nevada on TV4U


TVS, the fourth oldest commercial TV network in the USA, is reviving the historic Wednesday night fights, which aired on CBS in the 1950's. The new fights- from the CasaBlanca Casino Resort in Mesquite, Nevada, begin in January 2011 and can be seen on TVS Sports.Com and TVS Boxing.Net, which can be found on the TV4U.Com 48 channel IPTV network.

Henderson, NV, November 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The TVS Television Network, which has produced and distributed major sports events since 1961, will revive the historic Wednesday Night Fights franchise at the CasaBlanca Casino Resort in Mesquite, Nevada beginning in January, 2011.

Wednesday Night Fights will be held in the CasaBlanca Resort Hotel Showroom. They will include top college fights, Golden Gloves Fights, AAU Championship boxing, and the Boxing Illustrated Championship Fights.

The fights will be seen on TVS Boxing.Net, the only 24 / 7 streaming boxing TV network, and TVS Sports.Com, a video on demand IPTV channel that carries 60 years of classic TV sports as well as new TVS Television Network Sports Productions.All TVS IPTV channels can be seen on the 48 channel TV4U.Com IPTV network.

"We are very excited to be bringing back the Wednesday Night Fights and we think the CasaBlanca Casino Resort Hotel is a great location for them," said TVS CEO Tom Ficara. Ficara is currently serving his 20th year as the CEO of TVS, which was founded in 1961 by Eddie Einhorn.

TVS Sports.Com currently runs the classic CBS Wednesday night Fights series, which was hosted by Ted Husing, Russ Hodges, Jack Drees, and Steve Ellis back in the 1950's.

The Boxing Illustrated Pro Championship fights will first be seen live on a pay per view basis on TVS Pay Per View.Com. Subsequent airings will be on TVS Boxing.Net and on a video on demand basis on TVS Sports.Com

TVS has already produced the 2010 Junior Golden Gloves Championships at the CasaBlanca Resort Casino, as well as PBA Regional Bowling championships and the American Elvis TV Mini Series.
