Nha Trang, Vietnam, November 26, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- The competition is one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world and will feature over 90 women from various countries competing for the prestigious title.
The final is being held in the coastal city of Nha Trang in Vietnam on 4th December 2010 but the contestants will be arriving in the country a month before to take part in various activities as part of the competition. The whole theme of the pageant is to promote environmental awareness and better ways people can protect the environment.
This is the first time the event has been held outside of the Philippines and as part of the show the competitors will be going on a tour of Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Phan Thiet. The delegates will carry out a range of environmental activities in each place including street cleaning, charity work and cycling as a way to reduce emissions and raise concerns over environmental protection.
Last year’s winner and the current reigning champion, Larissa Ramos from Brazil, will be at the event to crown the next winner who can also look forward to picking up US$20,000 in prize money.
The event is being held at Vinpearl Land in Nha Trang and any visitors lucky enough to be in the audience for the final can find plenty of hotels close to the venue.
