)-- Lost in the challenges facing the current White House Administration is their initiative to promote dialogue, respect and cooperation amongst people of different faiths through the Office of Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships. New early childhood education media company, Little Lamb Properties, has had no such distractions in disseminating a similar message to a much younger audience. The premise of Spiritual Child Development™ is depicted through a set of multi-faith media characters in their first fully illustrated story, Little Lamb and the Mysterious Traveler. “Without putting a premium on the entertainment value, the most wonderful children’s lessons will fall on deaf ears,” said President and co-founder, Rodney Henderson. Early comments appear to bear this out. Children’s publication, The Macaroni Kid, in the process of doing a review offered this – “Loved the theme and the illustrations were fabulous as were the games in the back.” The games referred to are intended to engage the child in the lessons of the book. They also offer the parent the opportunity to engage in this form of early childhood teaching. “We are looking to provide the parent with the tools and resources to promote the subject of spiritual diversity at whatever level they choose,” Henderson goes on to say.
The Little Lamb™ characters and lessons on spiritual respect and compassion will be promoted through an ongoing set of children’s stories. A cartoon trailer bringing these characters to life is already in production, with a targeted release of early 2011.
