IBM and Alphalogix Demonstrate New Workflow and Electronic Forms Offering in Southern California

IBM and Alphalogix is scheduled to co-host a Proof of Technology for IBM Lotus Forms with Workflow demonstrating to technical audiences how to easily create and manage robust workflow applications for electronic forms with no coding.

Huntington Beach, CA, November 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Alphalogix, an Independent Software Vendor and IBM Premier Business Partner, announced today a co-hosted Proof of Technology (POT) event for IBM’s new offering, Lotus Forms with Workflow, on December 9, 2010 in Costa Mesa, CA at the IBM facilities. The POT will demonstrate to CTOs, IT Managers and application designers of all skill levels how Lotus Forms with Workflow provides electronic forms and workflow design tools that require no coding to create robust workflow applications.

IBM recently announced Lotus Forms with Workflow in September, offering a new “built-in” workflow engine and design tool paired with their dynamic electronic forms authoring tool, Lotus Forms. Lotus Forms with Workflow enables users to create process flows through a point and click GUI, assign forms to those processes, view, fill and route the forms to users and even monitor workflow operations with valuable reports.

The workflow engine, powered by Tasica Workflow by Alphalogix, applies business logic to electronic forms and eform data. Tasica Workflow routes eforms through simultaneous decisions, and allows en users of all skills levels to easily integrate databases, web services, directories and document repositories with the workflow application.

The POT will provide an overview of Lotus Forms with Workflow, and technical labs on creating electronic forms and workflow applications. The audience will learn how to integrate web services into workflow applications as well as manage applications in a web based or portal environment. The event will also offer a look into the newest version of Lotus Forms 4.0.

Recently, Alphalogix announced Tasica Workflow 3.4, adding robust workflow capabilities including web services support, linked workflows and support of IBM Lotus Quickr, while keeping consistent with its ease of use for users of all skill levels.

The POT will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the IBM Costa Mesa facilities. To learn more and register for this event, please click here to visit the Alphalogix Event Blog. This event’s registration system is powered by IBM Lotus Forms and Tasica Workflow.
